Insurance Support Assistant

DESCRIPTION

A Insurance Support Assistant is an entry level insurance operations position, which provides support to a Saint Louis based insurance brokerage agency. It allows for new employees to become acquainted with the insurance industry and our company culture.

DUTIES

  • Order APS (Attending Physician Statements)
  • Application preparation 
  • Schedule client appointments for medical exams (labs)
  • Review insurance holdings in our CRM (Junxure) for accuracy.
  • Enter new insurance policies into our CRM (Junxure) 
  • Process insurance policy updates into our CRM (Junxure) 
  • Scanning client statements
  • Process inforce policy service requests 
  • Create advisor online access for carrier websites
  • Handle miscellaneous activities as they arise
  • Develop and maintain written systems of all their activities

  • Ability to work with a team of people to accomplish a common goal

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education level: Associates/Bachelors Degree: preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very high training retention and quick learner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
  • High attention to detail with good organizational and problem solving skills 
  • Sets goals and organizes to obtain them
